How does a business address work?

Every company in the Netherlands needs a business address. In other words, an address at which a company is registered in the Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce. It is also referred to as a visiting address or registration address.

The Chamber of Commerce states that you must establish your business at the address from which you can also carry out your work. That doesn’t mean that you have to be there every day, but it does mean that you can go there every day to do your work.

PriOffice has 12 offices in the Netherlands that we make available to entrepreneurs to work, meet and establish their business. Our offices are fully equipped with various types of flexible workplaces, meeting rooms, internet and a kitchen with coffee and tea. In short, everything you need to work there when you want.

Can my company establish itself at a PriOffice office?

We don’t have a standard answer to that question, because it depends on what kind of company you have. Do you have a company for which it makes sense for you to carry out (part of) your work at an office? Then there is a good chance that you can indeed establish your company at one of our addresses. If you have a company for which it is not logical that you work from an office, for example a snack shop, there is a good chance that the Chamber of Commerce will not agree to this.

Not sure what applies to your business? Please contact the Chamber of Commerce to inquire.
