With EVVA’s modern electronic locks, it’s safe and easy to access our locations. Once the reservation is confirmed, you can use your smartphone to open the lock. Haven’t installed the app yet? Check out the video below to see how you can do this.
As soon as you come near the lock with your smartphone and you gently press the lock, thanks to NFC (or Bluetooth), a direct connection is made with your smartphone and you can open the door. However, this only works flawlessly for Android users. iOS users are dealing with Apple’s Bluetooth and NFC limitations and must first open the AirKey app to open the door:
- Press gently against the EVVA cylinder
- The blue LED light in the lock will turn on and connect to your phone’s Bluetooth
- After contact is made, the LED turns green and you can open the lock (just like with a key, by turning it)
